Madhura has a Bachelor of Physical Therapy degree from Manipal, India. She also holds a Master of Science degree in Physical Therapy from Oakland University, Michigan and has direct access certification.

Madhura has over twenty years of experience working as a Physical Therapist. She is certified in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy, more commonly known as the McKenzie method and specializes in spinal disorders. She is one of the few therapists in Virginia that is certified in Schroth therapy for Scoliosis.

She has extensive experience in treating the TMJ, vestibular rehabilitation for conditions like vertigo and also offers dry needling as one of her services.

Madhura believes in integrating different treatment techniques and creating unique treatment plans for her patients. She is a firm believer in patient education and strives towards getting her patients independent in maintaining their function after physical therapy treatment is over.

She is an avid long distance runner and has a special interest in all sports related injuries. In her free time she likes to read and spend time with her husband, two children and dog.

Melissa Weaver graduated from her degree in physical therapy from the Philippines and has been working as a physical therapist in outpatient Orthopedics in the US since 2014.

She has experience working with all different patient populations including children, the elderly, sedentary office workers, athletes of various ages, post-op patients, and those dealing with neurological complaints. She holds a direct access certification in the state of Virginia.

Melissa is most passionate about getting people moving and feeling better by teaching them strategies on how to help themselves through compassionate, individualized care. She likes to take an integrated approach to treatment and enjoys learning from different sources in healthcare and fitness. Melissa is the Clinic supervisor for our Falls Church location.

When she is not working, Melissa enjoys photography, reading and baking.

Vinila recently joined our team this summer. She graduated from NIMS Hyderabad, India in 2006. She has worked in several different Physical Therapy settings including inpatient, skilled nursing and outpatient. She specializes in Pelvic Floor therapy (Herman and Wallace curriculum) and is one of the few therapists in the area who accepts health insurance for this treatment. She works primarily out of our Sterling location.

In her free time, Vinila likes to play volleyball and badminton. She also enjoys cooking for her husband and boys.

Janielle holds a Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from Shenandoah University in Leesburg, VA. She has hands-on experience in diverse settings including schools, inpatient rehab, and outpatient clinics. Janielle employs evidence-based techniques and innovative therapeutic strategies to foster functional recovery and promote adaptive skills. Her expertise includes specific areas of pediatric/geriatric care, orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation.

Post graduation, Janielle began working in an outpatient clinic focused on treating conditions of the upper extremity. In this setting she was trained by a well-loved and respected certified hand specialist, inspiring her passion to also specialize in hand therapy.

As a licensed occupational therapist, Janielle enjoys helping individuals of all ages overcome physical, emotional, and cognitive challenges to achieve greater independence and improve their quality of life. Her approach is rooted in a patient-centered philosophy, focusing on personalized treatment plans that address each client’s unique needs and goals.

In her free time, Janielle enjoys snowboarding, painting, and hanging out with loved ones, especially her pup Muffin.

Howie, the occupational hand therapist!

Howie received his Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Emory & Henry University. Howie is passionate about helping people regain confidence and function after injury, surgery, or chronic hand and upper extremity conditions. He combines problem-solving, creativity, and evidence-based care to help patients get back to the activities that matter most—whether that’s returning to work, playing sports, gardening, or simply opening a jar without pain.

When he’s not in the clinic, you can usually find him powerlifting at the gym, exploring new restaurants and experimenting with new recipes, working on hand embroidered designs, or riding (while avoiding injuries) on his OneWheel board. Howie’s goal is to make hand therapy both effective and enjoyable while supporting each patient’s unique journey toward recovery.

Barbara / Barbie attends Northern Virginia Community College and plans to become a PTA.

She travels to both Sterling and Falls Church locations and helps manage the day to day transactions. She became interested in Allied Health Solutions because she desired working in a professional office scenario while still being able to help people.

When she is done with her homework, Barbie likes to work out in the gym everyday with her younger brother.

Gonzalo is a psychology graduate from George Mason University and plans to pursue his Master’s in Social Work in the near future. Gonzalo has experience with customer care jobs in the past, but especially enjoys the outpatient therapy setting. He works out of our Falls Church location and is eager to help with front desk duties, billing, and supporting operations in the gym.

Originally from Falls Church, Gonzalo enjoys long-distance hiking, storyboarding, playing video games, watching sci-fi movies, and trying out new food. He is also famous for carrying a variety of snacks wherever he goes!

Luis is an executive assistant and physical therapy/occupational therapy aide at our Sterling location.

His passion for health and recovery began in high school when he completed 2 years of personal fitness courses and one year of personal training. Since then, he has had a strong interest in anatomy, rehabilitation, and exercise science. Currently, he is pursuing a degree to become an Occupational Therapy Assistant, aiming to expand his expertise in patient care.

Having grown up in Falls Church, Virginia, he loves staying active through soccer with his younger brother, enjoying nature walks, going to church and spending time at the beach with his wife. He is also a car enthusiast!
