What gets you motivated to move

Exercise. Sometimes it’s really hard to do it. It’s not that it is actually hard but the idea of it can seem daunting. You are cozy on the couch watching your favorite show. And you don’t want to get up. So why do it? Studies show that exercise is as effective as antidepressants to elevate your mood. 

When I have been unable to exercise due to injuries, I developed a new found appreciation for how much better I felt when I was active. Endorphins are released and your brain actually functions much better after exercise. And I strongly believe that everyone can find an activity or activities that they both enjoy and that will physically benefit them too.
